We have named each of our stylish apartments after archbishops of York. Paulinus was a Roman missionary and the first Bishop of York. He was sent by the Pope in C.E. 604 to Christianize the Anglo-Saxons. If he was around today, we think he would have been partial to afternoon tea at Betty’s Tea Rooms.

Chad was abbot of several monasteries, features strongly in the work of the Venerable Bede and was canonised as a saint. He travelled widely, which is why if he were around today, you would find him at the Railway Museum.

We have named each of our stylish apartments after archbishops of York. Wilfred was archbishop from C.E. 664 to 678. Wilfrid lived ostentatiously and was also a patron of the arts. He would certainly have been at home at the York Barbican or the Grand Opera House York.

Guest Reviews
This apartment was absolutely perfect for us. It comfortably slept 6 guests, 2 bedrooms and a decent sofa bed. The décor was extremely modern. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. The location was the best by far, literally a 5 minute walk for us through York’s historic walls, Straight into Centre.
The Hosts mentioned to us that the parking was on your doorstep, they meant this literally! It was a stone throw away, plenty of parking spaces, paid by the Ringo app so was very convenient. The host was extremely attentive, we had plenty of questions and they seemed more than happy to help.
Would absolutely recommend this apartments, there was another 3 apartments in the courtyard, it would be perfect for a large group to have the whole block as it was gated and private.
Minsters Reach apartments will certainly be our new go to, in our favourite City to visit!
Well what a perfect location 2 minutes from city centre and right next to the car park, we had 2 apartments both were beautifully decorated very comfy beds and had everything we need actually booked again for December to visit the Christmas markets.
Within easy walking distance of York Centre. Comfortable apartment with everything I needed and is secure. A good place to start a walk around the city walls.and certainly a short walk to the “must see” Shambles.
Stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my family. Just a short stroll into the city centre. Parking on hand too which was superb for us with having children. We arrived late at night and the heating had been left on for us so was lovely and warm and cosy. Apartment was spotless and well equipped. Would highly recommend minsters reach apartments.
