This stylish first floor holiday apartment in York is accessed via steps in the courtyard. It has light and bright views from the floor to ceiling window to the magnificent city walls. Accommodation consists of two comfortable bedrooms. Each contains a double bed, good quality crisp white linen, contemporary artwork, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a newly fitted bathroom with bath and rain shower.
We have named each of our stylish apartments after archbishops of York. Oswald was archbishop from C.E. 972 to 992. Oswald was of Danish ancestry, brought up in France and one of the leading promoters of monastic life, particularly self-sufficiency. If around today, he probably could be found in York’s many gardens or sampling the excellent locally sourced food and drink.
